Setting up the brooder

Heat, bedding, water and feed for the first days.

   Start at 35°C under the heat source, dropping 3°C per week.

   Use a heat plate or red bulb, chick crumb, shallow water with pebbles, and non-slip bedding (no newspaper).

   Dip each chick's beak in water when introducing it to the brooder.
