About us
Stubberhill is a small family poultry farm based in Reighton, North Yorkshire, selling purebred hatching eggs across the UK.
Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email your order confirmation. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
Hatching eggs
Every egg sold is fertile hatching stock, supplied for incubation only and never for eating. Hatch rates depend on your incubator, handling and conditions, so no specific number of chicks can be promised.
Delivery
We dispatch on our published dispatch days with a same-day cut-off, by tracked courier, to UK addresses only. See our shipping page for current days, costs and timings.
Cancellations & returns
Hatching eggs are perishable, so they are exempt from the usual 14-day right to cancel once they have been dispatched. You may cancel before dispatch for a full refund by emailing us. Eggs that arrive damaged are covered by our hatching guarantee — tell us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of your order.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
